Public Enemy #1

Public Enemy #1

Description:

Bank robber, escape artist extraordinaire and modern day Robin Hood, John Dillinger's story has all the makings of a good movie. During his short crime spree in the early 1930's his popularity quickly grew due to the stories told over radio about many generous acts by the Gentleman Bandit. The American public justified the criminal actions of John Dillinger because of their need for a hero in a time of economic hardship and perceived unfairness by the government and financial institutions.
